BIO
Bärbel Praun is a visual artist (b. 1978) based in Germany, working at the intersection of photography and sculpture. After having lived everywhere and nowhere for many years, she decided to settle down in Hamburg in 2018. Her current bodies of work address the relationship between object, material and space, the value of our everyday material world and the visibility of process and time.
Bärbel loves mountains, forests and the sea, walking, hiking and running.
Member at artists’ house Achterhaus since 2019.
One part of artist duo Celata & Praun since 2020.

Bärbel Praun is a visual artist (b. 1978) based in Germany, working at the intersection of photography and sculpture. After having lived everywhere and nowhere for many years, she decided to settle down in Hamburg in 2018. Her current bodies of work address the relationship between object, material and space, the value of our everyday material world and the visibility of process and time.
Bärbel loves mountains, forests and the sea, walking, hiking and running.
